Risk Disclosure
Version 1.0.0 · Last updated 18 April 2026
Cryptocurrency and decentralised finance (DeFi) involve significant risks. You may lose all of your deposit. Please read this entire document before using Auto Lotto Savers Club.
1. Not financial advice
Nothing in Auto Lotto Savers Club or our communications is financial, investment, legal, tax or accounting advice. Decisions to deposit or withdraw funds are entirely your own. If you are unsure, consult an independent qualified professional.
2. Smart contract risk
Your funds are deposited into a third-party PoolTogether V5 prize vault smart contract on the Optimism network. Smart contracts may contain bugs, design flaws or be exploited by attackers. An exploit, bug, or governance failure in PoolTogether, in any underlying lending market, in the prize pool, or in any intermediate contract could result in partial or total loss of your deposit. We do not control these contracts and cannot reverse a loss caused by them.
3. Stablecoin (USDC) risk
Deposits are denominated in USDC, a stablecoin issued by Circle Internet Financial. USDC is not legal tender and is not government-backed. The peg to the US dollar may break temporarily or permanently due to issuer insolvency, banking failures, regulatory action, redemption restrictions, or other events. A depeg may reduce the dollar value of your deposit at any time.
4. Prize is not guaranteed
Prizes are awarded by the PoolTogether V5 protocol from the yield generated by deposited assets. The size, frequency and existence of any prize depends on yield rates, the number of depositors, the prize token (currently WETH on Optimism), random draw outcomes, and other variables outside our control. You may never win a prize. Past prize amounts shown in the Service are historical and do not predict future prizes.
5. No-loss applies to principal only
“No-loss” means that, absent the other risks described here, the principal amount you deposited can be withdrawn. It does not mean you cannot lose money:
- You pay network gas fees that are not recovered.
- You forgo the yield you might have earned by lending your USDC directly elsewhere.
- You bear the smart contract, stablecoin and protocol risks listed in this document.
6. Network and gas risk
The Optimism network may experience congestion, downtime, reorganisations, or sequencer failure that delays or prevents deposits, withdrawals or prize distribution. Gas fees fluctuate and may exceed the value of small deposits or withdrawals.
7. Wallet and authentication risk
Authentication is provided by Coinbase Developer Platform using your email address. If your email account is compromised, an attacker may be able to access your wallet and your deposit. You are solely responsible for the security of your email and any devices you use.
8. No reversibility
Blockchain transactions are final. We cannot reverse, refund, cancel or recover transactions, including transactions sent to a wrong address, transactions caused by phishing, or transactions made in error.
9. Third-party data risk
The Service displays balances, prizes and statistics that are retrieved from third-party sources (Moralis, public RPC providers, PoolTogether subgraphs and CoinGecko). This data may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable, and should not be relied on for financial decisions.
10. Regulatory risk
The legal treatment of crypto-assets, prize savings, sweepstakes and decentralised finance is evolving. Future laws or regulator actions may restrict, suspend, tax, or prohibit your ability to use the Service or to access funds. You are solely responsible for assessing whether your use of the Service is lawful where you live. See our Terms of Service for the list of Restricted Jurisdictions.
11. Tax
Prizes won and any other gains may be taxable in your country of residence. We do not provide tax forms or tax advice. You are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes that apply to you.
12. Acknowledgement
By using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these risks, and that you are using funds you can afford to lose.
